Maserati Recalls 7,400 Cars: Common Folk Unaffected

Maserati will recall 7,400 sports cars due to an issue with the tie rod during assembly. The recall covers 2005-2008 Quattroportes, 2008 Gran Turismos and Alfa Romeo 8Cs. Maserati said the tie rod may have been coated with “insufficient anti-corrosion material” which could cause it to weaken and fail.

Some drivers were unaffected because, after driving 185 mph, they lost their license and now they don’t drive.
